Education and Training

Education & Training addresses the increasingly complex relationships between education, training and employment and the impact of these relationships on regional, national and global labour markets. The Samarpit Sewa Sansthan gives specific consideration to young people, looking at how the transition from school/college to employment is achieved and how the nature of partnerships between the worlds of education and work continues to evolve. SSS also successfully runs a school namely, P.R. Jasiwal Memorial Public School, Cheproan, Block- Tharali (Chamoli Garhwal), Uttarakhand.

P.R.J Public Memorial School Chepron Tharali, Distt. Chamoli

P.R.J Memorial Public School was commissioned in 1 April 2008 as a social charity initiative of the Samarpit Sewa Sansthan Dehradun to promote basic elementary education among the poor and disadvantaged natives of the mid Himalayas. Late Shri P.R.J. Jaiswal did yeoman service to the society by way various welfare schemes to uplift the downtrodden. In order to bestow a befitting tribute to his memory and to his concern for the welfare of the deprived rural masses, Samarpit founded a model school, named after him as P.R.J. Memorial School at Chepron Tharali, Distt. Chamoli (Uttrakhand).

The school is running classes ranging from nursery to class 5th. The school building is well-furnished with separate administrative and academic sections and also having adequate space for extracurricular activities like games, sports and culture activities. The class rooms is well -equipped with essential teaching aids and materials varying according different age groups. The syllabus and teaching patterns are designed and modeled on modern public school lines.

The school staff comprise of school principal, five teachers, female helpers, peon, watchmen and the clerical staff. The school is a co-ed institution. However, encouragement is given to girl education. Over the last five year´s standing of the school, the results reflect all students passing successfully and getting admission to higher classes in other schools.

Feed back and monitoring of the academic and allied activities is done punctually during parent-teachers-principal meeting. The findings of these meetings are taken note of for the sake of improvement. High moral values and rich cultural heritage of Uttrakhand guides our thinking in academic planning for the young minds of the school.
